Gluten-Free Recipes: Chocolate Chip Cookies
Cream together in large bowl:
½ c shortening
½ c margarine
1 ½ c packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
½ tsp water
1 egg

Stir in:
2 ¾ c All Purpose Flour Blend
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 c mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
½ c chopped nuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix all ingredients as indicated. Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet approx. 2 inches apart. Bake 8-10 minutes until light brown. Allow to cool slightly before removing from baking sheet.
